October 18th 2008
It's the beginning of a new season (although it really doesn't feel like it with this hot weather) and we're getting ready to rock out at some chill venues around Austin. Less than a week and our string section will be here! We're all super excited to be "back together again" and to get practicing, putting our good vibes and music out there!
Hope y'all are ready to feel the energy we are so ready to release!

September 11th 2008
A lot has happened, really! We've uprooted from the Northeast and started our journey down to Austin, TX. We're getting our roots and feeling the place out! So far, half of the band and crew have arrived with the strings to follow. Stay tuned for updates, we're revamping our website. We have a lot of unique plans in the works with Release Motion Dance Project. Although we miss New England and all the people in it who have supported us, we feel very at home here in Austin, and we're so looking forward to the next few years! We'll be booking shows as soon as everyone gets down here. Once it starts to get cold in New England, come down to constant summer and hit up a Nearly Normal show! Don't forget your boots, buckles and cowboy hats! Lil Bobby's doin it! So should you!

Hello, hello everyone! Brit here for a quick update. I've put up a few new pictures here & there on the site, along with some other minor graphical updates. Be sure to check them out! :) We all wanted to say thanks to everyone who came out to the Fireworks Festival, Freedomfest, and Wallow in Clay Hollow and making it all that it was! We had a blast, as always, and are so pumped for Somerset County Jam Fest this weekend at it's new location in Harmony, Maine! Hopefully we see all the familiar faces we've grown to love show after show! In Merch news, Maggie has been making some beautiful fema Bobby normal pendants and tying some delicious looking hemp necklaces for them! So get them at the next festie while they last! Remember guys, anywhere you see a giant paper mache Bobby Normal puppet head, a ginormous box truck, and 7 fruity lookin hipsters.. you know TNN's in town.

Yet another Nearly Normal weekend is passing! We're breathing in the nature, and getting pumped for what will be a great show on Sunday! We're playing at The Milly's Tavern Outdoor Fireworks Festival! Come out for a beer, and to check out some great music! We hope to see you there!

Spring is finally here, melting into warm inviting days of the summer, and the crew is getting pumped about the shows we have lined up in the upcoming months! We hope you all get out there, check out the shows, chill at some of the sickest outdoor venues in the Northeast, and rock out with your ecclectic Nearly Normal friends!
We're packing up and headed south... Austin, T.X. bound in October! Don't miss a beat this summer, catch us while you can!

The Nearly Normal has just finished recording "Set Free" the EP. We've been in the studio for the past three weeks working tirelessly on our first album. You can find Set Free the EP on myspace, available for free downloads. We are currently working on the artwork for the album, and within the next two months we will have final cut copies available for purchase.
We're working hard preparing for our first two shows, the first of which will be at Slim's in Rochester on March 21st, and the second show on March 29th at Milly's Tavern with Nachilus Kezuck! Be sure to come & check out some good music, have a few drinks, and hang out with The Nearly Normal crew!

January 2008
The site has been coming along pretty steadily now. It's almost completely finished, once we get Maggie, Eben's, and Adam's biographies. Other than those, it's been re-vamped!
We're excited for the upcoming shows this winter, we hope you guys can make out and rock out with The Nearly Normal! We've got some exciting things in the works!
As always, keep updated on our tour page - we're adding new shows constantly!
